All our instructors are certified in physical fitness and /or dance /pole dancing and/or circus. They each have several years of experience and CPR certification.

 

Julie Paillé Dowell

 

Julie is the creator of the Pole Fitness program. She opened Idolem Pole Fitness at Centropolis in Laval in 2007. The program was such a success she was forced to find more space. She decided to take Pole Fitness to the Jean-Talon Market in Spring 2009.

A teacher and physical fitness instructor for over ten years now, she taught and worked in physical fitness all over Canada and Quebec, including The Sanctuary, Aerobie Plus on Clark Street, and the military bases in Edmonton and St-Jean.

She studied and performed dance at the University of Alberta and with the Corpus Rhesus dance troop. She shaped and refined her Pole Fitness program by working with some of the very best Pole Dancers

Catherine Desjardins

 

Growing up in a family of artists, Catherine was initiated to the joys of creativity at a young age. A trapeze artist by training, she has the ability to transmit her passion for creation with energy and vitality.


Catherine was initiated to the circus arts at a very young age. She studied trapeze, acrobatics and trampoline at the École National de Cirque, the École du Cirque de Verdun and at the Cirque du Monde. She continues to study movement, body preparation, creation and aerial and acrobatic technique with world class instructors. She also has a remarkable knowledge of music, dance and theatre.

Rachel Walker

 


Rachel Walker was the original Solo Swing Trapeze Artist with Cirque du Soleil's KOOZA, from 2006-2008.

She also worked with Circus Discordia, the Dresden Dolls, and numerous influencial directors / choreographers such as Victor Fomine and Andre Simard (Cirque du Soleil), Shana Carroll (Les 7 Doigts de la Main), and Aimee Hancock (Cirque Eloize).

With over a decade of experience on stage, Rachel has a comprehensive technical and artistic approach in her teaching.

Carolina Torres

 


The method of Pilates training has been of great success and acceptance in the sport field, this technique will allow us to work our own body to conscience with the purpose of preparing it in all the aspects to increase our physical condition.

After training me for a long time in the gymnasium to long for discover a discipline that motivated me enough to training me daily was as well as I started since 5 years ago, I discovered and undergo the changes that can be get with the practice it continuous of this discipline, is an own reason for inspiration and for all those that they want to explore to where the human body can arrive. Reeducate our body increasing its force, flexibility and improving the balance, the position, the alignment and the muscular control can be get applying the basic principles like: concentration, breathing, corporal center, flowed control, precision, movements, isolation and routine.

We invited to participate to them in this experience that changed to its body and its mind.

 

Nadia Genois

 


D’abord gymnaste, elle fait ensuite le saut en danse contemporaine, diplômée en 1994 de l’École de danse de Québec. Pendant ses années de formation, elle enseigne la gymnastique, supervise des groupes compétitifs, et travaille à titre de chorégraphe.

Arrivée à Montréal, la vie l’amènera à travailler dans un tout autre domaine. Toujours fascinée et intéressée par l’art, c’est des années plus tard qu’elle découvre le pole dancing. Elle trouve avec cette discipline, un bel équilibre entre le sportif et l’artistique, l’acrobatie et la danse en plus d’y trouver une joie de vivre.

Avec le pole dancing et en l’enseignant, elle renoue avec le plaisir de partager et de transmettre ses passions.

Jorge Padila Gonzalez

 


Artiste de mât chinois et instructeur à l'école nationale de cirque.

Jorge a reçu sa formation de cirque au Mexique et en Argentine. Il a ensuite reçu sa formaion d'instructeur à l'école nationale de cirque de Montreal.

Jorge vous poussera au delà de vos limes pour vous obtenir la force et l'agilité nécessaire aux acrobatie de pole dancing de haut niveau.
